Agentic Commerce
Build shopping experiences where an AI agent helps a customer find products and make a purchase. Finqu exposes store capabilities through the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), so agents can discover the store, work with its catalog, and follow the shopping journey through checkout and orders.
How it works
- Discover the store. Read
https://{shop-domain}/.well-known/ucpfor the protocol version, supported capabilities, and transport endpoints. - Find the right products. Search or look up products, using the capabilities available for that store.
- Build the purchase. Manage a cart, apply supported discounts, and work with fulfillment options.
- Complete checkout. Use the checkout capability and Finqu’s hosted payment handler for the buyer’s payment step.
- Support the customer after purchase. Use order access and identity linking where enabled and authorized.
The merchant remains the merchant of record. UCP standardizes how your agent interacts with the store; the discovery profile tells you what that particular store supports.
What you can build
- Shopping assistants that turn a conversation into product selection and a purchase
- Agent platforms that connect to stores through a shared discovery and integration model
- Conversational storefronts across websites, messaging, and voice experiences
- Customer experiences that use supported order, location, and loyalty capabilities
UCP on Finqu
The 2026-08-25 release supports REST and MCP bindings for shopping and common services. Its capabilities cover catalog search and lookup, carts, checkout, fulfillment, discounts, orders, identity linking, buyer consent, permalinks, split payments, locations, and loyalty.
Finqu’s hosted payment handler advertises redirect and gift-card instruments. Agents must follow the capabilities, payment configuration, authentication requirements, and buyer interaction required by the store.
